Most People Pass Underwriting

Medicare Supplement underwriting is straightforward. Here's what typically qualifies you:

  • The 3/3/3 Rule — It's Simpler Than You Think - Most people qualify easily. The only combination that raises a flag is if you are taking 3 or more medications for each of these three conditions all at the same time:

Blood Pressure | Cholesterol | Diabetes

  • That means taking 1, 2, or even 3 medications across these categories in any combination — 1/1/1, 2/2/2, 1/2/3, 2/1/3 — you very likely still qualify. The most common disqualifier is hitting 3 or more medications for all three conditions simultaneously.

Not sure about your count? A licensed advisor will walk through it with you — no pressure, no obligation.
